This was a unique experience. We were asked for ideas for the Pebble Beach Concourse d'Elegance. An auto show with a long tradition of legacy brands and snobbery. Infiniti is a challenger premium brand and we wanted to do something radical. The idea was to create a stir and cover story of a "barn find" of a decades-old lost race car that had been built, raced, and forgotten. It was designed with a distinct Japanese heritage and also an homage to design cues of current Infiniti models. It was introduced at the concourse and the agency even helped in the initial sketches of the roadster. Alfonso Albania (head of design for Infiniti) then took it and ran with it — including the idea of giving it next-generation electric motor. It ran beautifully and silently, until the press launch. (Special gratitude to Kelly and Marcus , the CD team with the idea.)

There was no case study video as the agency was not allowed in any way to take credit for the idea. But here is some footage captured.
